It’s a wrap!
Today we finished the last session of Publish or Perish—the ultimate guide to writing and publishing a scientific paper. To date more than more than 120 papers have been reviewed through the course with a 90% publication rate in top tier journals.
With the aim of writing a great scientific article and getting it published, we’ve worked on:
✦ writing and communicating clearly
✦ structuring a paper
✦ highlighting your scientific contribution
✦ common errors for Spanish speakers
✦ appropriate register and tone
✦ writing a cover letter that makes a convincing case for publishing your paper
✦ responding appropriately (and diplomatically) to reviewer comments
A really dynamic and engaged group, everyone worked so hard. Thank you all for your participation, can’t wait to work with you on your papers in the second phase.
